Fostering events

No two children are the same and there are many different types of fostering and foster carers. If you're interested in fostering a local child, a great place to start is by coming along to talk us. We are the only local organisation with children who need a foster family and we need more foster carers like you.

We hold monthly information evenings, frequent drop-in events and attend some local annual shows.  Find out how you could begin to make a difference to a child's life in 2020 and enjoy a rewarding career as a foster carer.

Please come along for an informal chat to find out more about fostering for Telford & Wrekin Council, the varied excellent local training we offer and the exceptional support we give to our foster carers.

Find out about the process of becoming a foster carer from one of our existing carers and have your questions answered.

Our next Skills to Foster training course begins on Saturday 21st March and runs for three consecutive Saturdays. Don’t delay if you are ready to make a difference to a child’s life and yours this year. Please contact us by completing our online enquiry form or call 01952 387387 or visit us at one of our information evenings or daytime drop-in events.

Help us to keep our children with local foster carers.
