Could you keep children in Telford and Wrekin, support them with their development and provide them with a caring home?

We want you to foster with us.

Being a foster carer is incredibly rewarding and makes a such a positive difference in the lives of the children you care for. As a community, we have a responsibility for our local children to grow up in a loving and safe environment. A stable home where they can be nurtured to develop. Foster caring is rewarding for our foster carers and has a significant impact for children.

We know it can come with challenges and we give you support every step of the way. You will receive initial, ongoing and specialist training. Our courses in therapeutic parenting will help you to understand and support children with unique emotional or behavioural needs. You will have access to 24-hour support, regular local events to meet likeminded carers and become part of a supportive community of foster parents and professionals who share your passion for helping children thrive.

Our foster carers are from our variety of backgrounds and lifestyles. They are here to support each other as well as the foster children in their care. With experience and training, you’ll grow personally and gain valuable skills in communication, empathy and patience.
